The vision that fuels the children’s ministry of Sandy ValleyBaptist Church grows out of Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14, “Letthe little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdomof God belongs to such as these.” Through this vision we havedeveloped a safe and loving environment for newborns to school agechildren up to 6th grade which is meant to make each child feel welcomed,loved, and accepted as they grow in knowledge and grace of our Lord andSavior Jesus Christ.

We offer Sunday School classes each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. for each agegroup which are dedicated to teaching Biblical truths and laying thefoundation for each boy and girl to come to know Jesus as Lord andSavior as the Holy Spirit convicts. During our worship service at 10:30a.m. this foundation is further supported by our age appropriatechildren’s church designed specifically for children 4 years oldthrough 3rd grade. Each ministry offers Biblical truths supported bytimes of music, crafts, games, and snacks.

Our missions ministries, RAs (boys), GAs (girls) and Mission Friends(ages 4-5), meet Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m., and Kids of the Kingdomand Children’s Choir are offered on Wednesday evenings at 6:30p.m.

During the school year on Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. we offer BibleDrills to our children in grades 3 through 6. The purpose of BibleDrills is to help children increase in the knowledge of the Bible,develop skills in the use of the Bible, begin developing memory skills,and learn how to apply the Bible to their lives.

We strive to offer our parents a ministry they can trust by providinga safe, clean, and loving environment and to let our children and theirfamilies know they are important at Sandy Valley Baptist Church.
