Children

The vision that fuels the children’s ministry of Sandy Valley Baptist Church grows out of Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Through this vision we have developed a safe and loving environment for newborns to school age children up to 6th grade which is meant to make each child feel welcomed, loved, and accepted as they grow in knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We offer Sunday School classes each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. for each age group which are dedicated to teaching Biblical truths and laying the foundation for each boy and girl to come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior as the Holy Spirit convicts. During our worship service at 10:30 a.m. this foundation is further supported by our age appropriate children’s church designed specifically for children 4 years old through 5th grade. Each ministry offers Biblical truths supported by times of music, crafts, games, and snacks.

Our missions ministries, RAs (boys), GAs (girls) and Mission Friends (ages 4-5), meet Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m., and Kids of the Kingdom and Children’s Choir are offered on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.

We strive to offer our parents a ministry they can trust by providing a safe, clean, and loving environment and to let our children and their families know they are important at Sandy Valley Baptist Church.
